Water is fluid, soft, and yielding. But water will wear away rock, which is rigid and cannot yield. As a rule, whatever is fluid, soft, and yielding will overcome whatever is rigid and hard. This is another paradox: what is soft is strong.

Two seeds lay side by side in the fertile soil.
The first seed said, “I want to grow! I want to send my roots deep into the soil beneath me, and thrust my sprouts through the earth’s crust above me … I want to unfurl my tender buds like banners to announce the arrival of spring … I want to feel the warmth of the sun on my face and the blessing of the morning dew on my petals!”
And so she grew…
The second seed said, “Hmmmm. If I send my roots into the ground below, I don’t know what I will encounter in the dark. If I push my way through the hard soil above me I may damage my delicate sprouts … what if I let my buds open and a snail tries to eat them? And if I were to open my blossoms, a small child may pull me from the ground. No, it is much better for me to wait until it is safe.”
And so she waited…
A yard hen scratching around in the early spring ground for food found the waiting seed and promptly ate it.
Lesson: Seize the day!

As of early Sunday morning, EDT, Typhoon Fengshen is centered near 15.4 north, 120.4 east or approximately 55 miles north-northwest of Manila. Maximum-sustained winds were 75 mph with gusts to 90 mph. Fengshen was moving northwest at 9 mph. Fengshen is forecast to continue moving northwestward in response to an east southeast steering flow and emerge into the China Sea later on Sunday into early on Monday. Although Fengshen will be over warm waters, a northeasterly increase in vertical wind shear is expected to generally result in little change in strength over the next 24 hours. Fengshen in then forecast to turn more northward later on Monday and may threaten the southern coast of China, just east of Hong Kong on Tuesday and then possibly Taiwan on Tuesday night or Wednesday.

Πριν από δύο ημέρες, έλαβα μια ειδοποίηση από την DHL που λέει ότι υπάρχει ένα πακέτο αποστέλλεται σε μένα, αλλά δεν ήμουν εκεί, οπότε δήλωσε ότι θα επιχειρήσει εκ νέου την παράδοση με την επόμενη μέρα. Νόμιζα ότι το πακέτο είναι ένα από τα εγχειρίδια που διέταξε για το καλοκαίρι του 2008, αλλά θα ήταν επίσης κατά νου ότι είναι πολύ ωραίο για έναν πωλητή να στείλει το κείμενο χρησιμοποιώντας την DHL. Εγώ δεν το ελέγχει τον αριθμό αναζήτησης, και αποφάσισα να περιμένω λίγο για την επόμενη προσπάθεια παράδοσης.
Χθες, έλαβα ένα άλλο από την κοινοποίηση της DHL που λέει ότι προσπάθησε να παραδώσει το πακέτο για τη δεύτερη προσπάθεια, αλλά δεν ήταν διαθέσιμο. Σκέφτηκα το ίδιο πράγμα, εγώ δεν το ελέγχει τον αριθμό αναζήτησης, και αποφάσισε να περιμένει λίγο για την τρίτη προσπάθεια παράδοσης.
Αυτή η νύχτα, μίλησα με Λυδία για πολλά πράγματα, και κάποια στιγμή συζητούσαμε για δώρο γενεθλίων, τότε μου έδωσε ενδείξεις σχετικά με το πακέτο που έχει αποστολή, σκέφτηκα πως ήταν joking, αλλά εκείνη φαινόταν πραγματικά σοβαρά γι ‘αυτό. Τη στιγμή εκείνη, υπάρχει σαν μια μεγάλη πέτρα που μόλις μου χτυπά στην πλάτη του το κεφάλι μου για να ελέγξετε την DHL αριθμό αναζήτησης, έτσι έκανα και συνειδητοποίησα ότι αυτό είναι το πακέτο που έχει αποστολή ..!
Ήμουν πραγματικά έκπληκτος, το είπα αμέσως ότι πήρα το πακέτο και στη συνέχεια μου ζήτησε αμέσως την DHL για να κανονίσουμε μια δέσμη pick up για την επόμενη μέρα γιατί ήταν ήδη πολύ αργά. Προσπάθησα να κοιμάται κατά 1 π.μ., αλλά προφανώς δεν θα μπορούσα, περίπου μέχρι τις 4 π.μ. το πρωί ..
I πήραν το πακέτο σήμερα το πρωί, αλλά δεν είμαι επιτρέπεται να ανοίξει μέχρι την ημερομηνία των γενεθλίων μου, γι ‘αυτό εξακολουθούν να μην γνωρίζουν τι είναι μέσα .. Εγώ έπαιρνα μάλλον πρέπει να αποκωδικοποιήσει το μυστικό κωδικό.
